Bross Consulting GmbH: engineering and management consultancy
Who we are, how we work, who is responsible for the projects — and where the company comes from.
Bross Consulting plans factories, warehouses and production logistics for manufacturing companies — from the first analysis to a reliable decision. We join a project when a production is growing, relocating, being restructured, or when a new plant is being built.
At its core the question is always the same: how must the factory and the warehouse work so that capacity, material flow, floor space and investment fit together? We answer it with data and without a fixed technology agenda — not with a standard solution, but with the variant that fits the site's objectives, constraints and budget. What we plan in concrete terms is set out in the services overview.
How we work
We work methodically along the phase structure of VDI 5200: objectives and data first, then concept and detail, then realization and ramp-up. Each phase produces a reviewable result before the next begins — so at every point it stays decidable whether to continue or to rework. How the seven phases are structured in detail is set out in our account of factory planning to VDI 5200.
Every recommendation rests on data, not on experience alone. And the partners work on the project themselves: whoever is responsible for the proposal is also the person on the shop floor.
Bross Consulting regularly acts as the general planner: end-to-end responsibility for a project across all the trades involved. This covers coordination of the specialist planning, project management and a PMO through to commissioning. As general planner, Bross is responsible for the overall outcome — the schedule, cost and quality of the project — so that clients have a single point of contact for the whole.

Bross Consulting GmbH was founded in 2019 as Bross & Partner Consulting Engineers and traded as Bross & Partner Beratende Ingenieure mbB from 2021. In 2023 the company was converted into a GmbH and transferred from the partnership register (PR 1976) to the commercial register of the Munich Local Court (HRB 283944). Since 2025 the company name has been Bross Consulting GmbH, with its registered office at Viktualienmarkt in Munich.
The same legal entity has therefore traded under four names: Bross & Partner Consulting Engineers (2019), Bross & Partner Beratende Ingenieure mbB (from 2021), Bross Consulting Engineers GmbH (from 2023) and, since 2025, Bross Consulting GmbH. These are former company names of the same business — not a current professional title. Older mentions in specialist articles, reference lists and directories therefore refer to the same company.
