Your first message does not need to be a complete specification. A short description of the current situation, the affected site or area, the upcoming decision and the intended timeframe is sufficient. If volume data, layouts, process data or photographs already exist, they can be shared selectively during the subsequent discussion.
We first check whether the question fits our work in factory planning, production and logistics consulting, warehouse or assembly planning, material-flow analysis or digital site capture. We then clarify the objective, system boundary, available data and sensible next steps. This shows early whether a focused analysis is sufficient or a broader planning project is required.

After the technical assessment, we suggest an appropriate next step. This may be a clarification meeting, a focused data review or the definition of a planning module. The aim is to avoid unnecessary preparation and establish early which outputs are actually required for the pending decision.
